A new MOOC on quantum optics
A new MOOC on quantum optics created by Alain Aspect and Michel Brune is now online.

A new MOOC on quantum optics, authored by Alain Aspect and Michel Brune, is on-line.
This first course is devoted to the electromagnetic field quantization and to the introduction of basic tools of quantum optics. It presents, with experimental illustrations, purely quantum effects observed at the level of single photons. A second course will be devoted to the interaction with matter and to quantum effects involving several photons, in particular related to entanglement.
