Chairs and prizes of the Collège de France

The Collège de France is organized into chairs. These cover a broad range of disciplines: from mathematics to the study of ancient civilizations, including physics, chemistry, biology, and medicine, as well as philosophy and literature, social sciences and economics, prehistory, archaeology, and history. A professor appointed to a statutory chair at the Collège de France can hold it until the end of their career.
