The Kastler Brossel Laboratory is seeking to recruit a research engineer specialized in nano- and micro-fabrication to carry out projects involving the design, fabrication, and characterization of original devices at the micro- and nanometric scales. Working in close collaboration with several research teams within the laboratory and in coordination with the various cleanrooms in the Paris region to which the laboratory has regular access, the engineer will play a central role in developing processes tailored to scientific needs, structuring technical know-how, and strengthening the laboratory’s expertise in the field of quantum technologies.

The Kastler Brossel Laboratory is recruiting a research engineer to head its IT department, which consists of two assistant engineers. They will administer the laboratory’s network and oversee the maintenance of the computer equipment. They will lead the development of new services and continue the evolution of those already in place. The recruited engineer will also be responsible for initiating projects related to the laboratory’s information systems, in particular the administration of the computer network, the development of servers and IT infrastructure, and the monitoring and maintenance of the computing cluster.
