“Idées de Physique”

Physics is a science that talks about the world around us, and that works in real life, not just in controlled lab experiments.
In each of the monthly columns “Idées de physique” by J.M. Courty and E. Kierlik, we present the laws of physics and the approach of the physicist through a variety of interdisciplinary topics that are likely to be of interest to a wide audience: natural phenomena, technology, sport, biology, and so on. We make use of the latest scientific and technical publications to bring the reader up to date with advances in research, revisit the great popularisation classics, and renew the explanations and illustrations of physical phenomena.

The colum starded in 2001. There are more than 280 published articles and 5 books.
