Individually addressable atoms strongly coupled to optical cavities constitute light-matter quantum modules with numerous applications in quantum information processing. The talk will present a new capability of the system as an efficient, high-fidelity entanglement source for large photonic graph states. Unprecedented entanglement rates for more than a dozen photons are now state-of-the-art. This opens up new perspectives for measurement-based quantum computation and loss-tolerant quantum communication.
